104fox keeps nagging that I have out of date plugins. I have a mac ibook g4 running os 10.5.8, the hihrst thing this system can run. I have 104fox 7450, also the right thing for this system. Apple is just showing java for 10.6 and up. You know they just dumped all the users of their "old" products out on the street.

APPLE MIGHT BE FOUNDED BY GENIUSES BUT THEY ARE RUN BY CORPORATE WEASELS WHO FIRE AMERICAN WORKERS AND REPLACE THEM WITH CHINESE SLAVE LABOR.

So where can I find java that 104fox can use?

The sad news is that you can't. There'll never be a more recent version of Java or the Java plugin for PPC Macs with 10.4 or 10.5. Not from Apple, and probably not from Oracle either.

Because old plugins like Flash and Java are insecure now, they're disabled by default on TenFourFox. If you switch them on (or use an older version of TenFourFox where they're still enabled), you get the warning via Mozilla's blocklist, and the Java plugin will be disabled. This isn't something we (TenFourFox) do, it's Mozilla's mechanism. You could re-enable it in the Ad-Ons Manager, it's still working (mostly) on 10.5, but this configuration is unsupported.

Also, you should not receive the "out of date" warning unless you reenabled plugins or made other changes in about:config; TenFourFox 10 ships with the warning disabled. If you are using a version prior to 10, you should update, but as Chris says plugins have not been supported since TenFourFox 6.
