Hi there, before I start: it's a huge pleasure to be able to use a current, productive, responsive, fast browser on systems as old as mine. Thanks loads!

Two minor(ish) problems, though, the first one occuring whenever I set a bookmark: sync starts spinning and syncing immediately (I put it's icon in my menubar and watch it spinning while waiting) and I can't even continue to edit the bookmark, add a tag etc, nor can I scroll or change tabs. The browser freezes completely for pretty much half a minute.

Occurs on MacMini G4 (7450, 1.25 ghz, 1gb ram, OS 10.5.8, TFF 31.3.0).

Any ideas?

Cheers form Germany,

Hello, first: Sorry, your post ended up in the Spam folder. Regarding your sync problem: I guess there isn't much we can do about it. Some operations involving places.sqlite (bookmarks, history) are very slow on our old PPC systems, and sync is known to cause performance problems as well. I don't use sync, but if I did, I'd probably switch it off generally and only activate it once per day (if this is possible) to let it do its thing, then deactivate it again so that performance isn't degraded.

    BTW, what's the second problem?

    Hola Chris,

Yes, I was thinking about activating Sync manually only, did not find a way to do that though.

    Thanx for your reply,
