I got a message saying I should update my browser that uses HTML5, and/or Flash when trying to listen live PBS on KQED and could not listen:
http://www.kqed.org/radio/listen/

Also told my Adobe Flash had to be updated to view live stream or the later video: http://www.ustream.tv/pbsnewshour
[I put my 1st post in wrong place; hope this is in the right place...]

The KQED audio player requires either Flash, which TenFourFox has not supported since version 6, or MP3 HTML5 audio. Although hopefully the browser can support MP3 audio in the future, right now it doesn't, and probably won't for a while because we have to write that support from scratch.

There may be an add-on to make this possible (I don't know of one, though some downloader add-ons can help), but as it stands right now you won't be able to listen to KQED with this browser, nor anything else such as the PBS News Hour Ustream that requires Flash. Sorry. You might have better luck with OmniWeb.

    OS 10.5.8 - TenFourFox 7450 ( 8/7/17)
I am unable to view PBS.org videos (The most important viewing website to me!)
Is there anything I can do? Please...

I can't get it to work, either. Neither in TenFourFox (with Web.m HTML5) nor in Safari on 10.5.8 (with Flash and H.264 HTML5). PBS states Flash + HTML5 as system requirements. Not sure why none of the options work.

It depends on whether or not the web.m HTML5 codec is supported. I inquired at PBS support and am awaiting their answer.
