Java Scripting the biggest problem
Who in there right mind creates a script 155 lines of Garbage just to read internet news items. Leaving a comment on any read article on yahoo or any other agency that post rss news feeds, ie BBC, 600 lines of SCRIPT just to scroll down the Elevator?? I am not a big fan about Scripts, java scripts needs to go bye bye as far as i am concerned, i dont need the headache of fixing Scripting garbage , for the sole purpose of DOS HEAD WINDOW users.. I own a mac, and that is why i will never use A WINDOZE machine, try to set the timeout value for higher and or lower and still UNRESPONSIVE script and a list as long as Kareem Abdul Jabbar's Leg appears. Icons, dissapear next issuer, they some how seem to slowly disappear from the status bar, another unique problem this is a goodie, selection of another article ON ITS OWN, either my mac is haunted or the Ghost of Tom Jode really exists and living inside my mac. Using the Tab bar Freezes my cursor, thats always a fun one to curse at....

You can use Command ⌘ instead of Control ^ on Mac

Regrettably there isn't much we can do about that -- that's irresponsible content writers adding scriptable content where it isn't needed. You might look into an extension like NoScript to see if you can block it on problematic sites, but be careful; this can prevent some less-well-written sites from working at all. Good luck.
